After all, they currently offer five different crossover/SUV-type vehicles. And then I remembered Toyota...

The FJ is done after this year and unfortunately the Sequoia might be on its way out too. Such a shame, cause it really is a good fullsize SUV.

Aren't the Sequoia's dimensions really, really similar to the Land Cruiser's (even though the Land Cruiser is $35K+ more expensive)?

If you showed me a 4Runner, Sequoia, and a Land Cruiser all in a line, I would not be able to tell you which one is which

I'm really gonna miss the FJ. Especially after seeing it hang with the big kids on Top Gear.

You can't even make a BMW joke.. They have more than BMW.

I really wanted to buy an FJ Cruiser, but I seriously couldn't see out the damn thing. It was almost as bad as a current gen Camaro.

I know, that was the one thing I remember about it.

Sequoia has same drivetrain, engine, transmission. Much larger interior and over 10" longer, 2" wider, and 3" taller. Weighs more, but despite the weight and size, it gets the same gas mileage, has a better turning radius, and has better acceleration. And is a lot less money.

Are the venza and highlander the same car?I wouldn't be able to tell them beige mobiles apart on the street.

There is a difference. It's the...well they have separate...the Venza uses a...I have no idea. I think they're the same.

They're basically the same, but the Venza obviously sits a bit lower and doesn't have a third row seat. The 3.5 V6 that powers the Venza and the Highlander is a nice engine. It's too bad Toyota dropped it as an option for the new RAV4, because that was a quick little unit. Torque steer was a bit much, even with AWD.

Interesting. You'd think people would buy more of them. But for every Sequoia I see, there are about 10 Land Cruisers, and about 5 of the Lexus LX.

Sequoia and Land Cruiser, sure, but not the 4Runner:
And

The 4Runner has gotten big, but it looks nothing like the others.

I don't speak Toyota

Ok. Do you have eyes?

Opposite here. I see plenty of Sequoias but not many LCs and LX's.

wow congratulations toyota, you made the land cruiser obsolete it sounds like...

Land Cruisers seem to be popular with diplomats, and we have a ton of diplomats around here.

That's probably why.

Possibly. But I do have a sense of humor

I had to do a double take when I saw the MSRP of the Land crusier...wow. Also noticed that if you toss out the Rav4 you get pretty poor MPG across the board, but then I realized that nearly all of these were designed either exclusively for the North American market..or with it in mind.

Escape, Edge, Flex, Explorer, Expedition, does C-Max count? Either way that's 5-6 vs Toyota's 7.
But still, I see what you are saying, haha. From some other comments it seems like Toyota will be down to 5 models before too long.

I didn't count the C-max, it's a hatchback.
